As a local native to Austin, Dana has enjoyed watching Austin transform into the vibrant city that it has become today. Early on, Dana realized that she wanted to take her life in a more creative direction and became a Cosmetologist. During her career as a stylist, Dana learned the importance of cultivating lifetime relationships and she learned how to listen to her customers' needs to be able to help serve them best. She learned how to effectively manage time, to always find the solution to any questions or concerns, and most importantly to communicate quickly and in detail. The time spent in that industry taught her to always believe in her tenacious spirit, while never being afraid to stand up for others and advocate for her clients. 

Dana also grew up in and around the real estate industry, attending appointments, showings, and closings since childhood. Upon entry into the industry, Dana underwent an intensive, hands-on internship with her mother and then mentor, Linda Takenaka, a 29-year Real Estate veteran. Since then Dana has been able to showcase her personality, her approach to business, and her relationship skills with all her clients and go out on her own. She is committed to making it her mission to ensure all her clients are able to not only understand but to enjoy every step of the real estate process and their transaction. Her goal is to make sure her clients always get the communication and information they require every step along the way! Dana promises to get to the core of your “why” and to do her best to help you move in that direction. 

Whether it be buying, selling, or investing, Dana will always makes sure that her clients are kept up-to-date and in the know throughout the transaction. Her top-notch negotiating skills help her clients to prevail in multiple-offer situations. She has served short-term rental investors, long-term rental investors, first-time home buyers, move-up buyers/sellers, and everyone in between.
